All in Success Story

34: Start in College- A Millennial with 700K Real Estate Holdings with Lindsay Zweber

Today’s episode though is my home girl Lindsay Zweber. Lindsay is one of those mom friends that you just love being around. She is beautiful, sweet, and a hustler. She has her own side business (as well as her and her husband have real estate) and she tells on the show today how they started real estate investing in college, that is totally paying off now. If you have a teenager who is about to go into college, this episode is for you. And before you start thinking that it’s too late for you, she did this all in 10-15 years. So as long as you plan on living another 15 years, this could be you later on in life. But it wasn’t and isn’t always easy for her. She makes choices that some wouldn’t and this is why she is so successful. Successful people always make choices that broke people won’t.

How to Stop Doing All the Housework Yourself

I know what you are thinking….”My husband will never go for this”. I have two theories about this.

ONE, you are not adding enough monetary value to the household income for him to care if you hire it out. He sees that you have extra time on your hands so he sees his job as earning the money and your job as keeping the house. I have been here. When I earned enough that I could say that I was either going to hire it out or divvy it up, he was more willing to take on more. TWO, You are just not having a conversation about expectations. Your expectation is different than his. SO many women forget that they can ask for help because they just get in a grind of doing it all. We take on a martyrdom that we then escape from our lives with wine and girls nights because we feel so overwhelmed by the same life that we insist on being the queen of. I want a marriage that feels respectful in both directions. I want to honor him and him honor me and we both feel valued. So here are my top tips for making this happen.

Episode 32: Navigating a Job and a Business Together with Chris Browning

Today on the podcast I interview Chris Browning. He is a financial expert with his own journey of needing to take a hard look at his own finances. Just because you are an expert in finance doesn’t always mean you have it all together. He experienced his own hardships due to medical expenses, wedding, moving and getting married.

Can you relate?

He is a financial teacher who had his own money problems. How crazy is that? It’s normal actually. He took his own advice and got himself back on track.

We are all subject to money hardships. Chris advises the first step is to really figure out how much you are spending. Sit down and write out a detail budget of 1-2 months worth of spending. It usually is pretty obvious where the money is leaking. Chris found that food was one of his biggest spending areas. Once you understand the flow of money you can start allocating it. Chris paid off $27,000 of debt and breaks down his own plan and goals for his money to get himself retiring early.

Episode 31: Authenticity is the New Currency with Trevor Crane

It’s not always glitz and glamour when starting a business. It took today’s guest, Trevor Crane, 20 years to publish his first book.

Trevor 10x his income when he published the book through back end products and other programs that resulted from the book.

Do me a favor, write down your desired income. Now add a zero to it (making it 10x the amount). Would you like to 10x your income? Of course you would! We all would.

Trevor’s YouTube channel, books and programs make it seem like it has always been that way for him but he filed a 2 million dollar bankruptcy in 2009. He knows the highs and lows of business life. He had failed relationships as a result of that and his net worth went to negative. Through it all, he still knew he could come back. He didn’t know how at the time- but he got help and today has a thriving business. Knowing how to package and market the challenges you have been through is what makes the most impact on other people’s lives when you go to help them.
